The newer apartment and townhouse developments through Macquarie Park, Meadowbank and along the Ryde/Rhodes corridor are typically rendered and painted common areas with rendered or painted concrete. These are usually strata jobs, and we handle them accordingly — scheduled, coordinated with the manager, and staged so residents aren't locked out of their own building.
The riverside pockets — Putney, Tennyson Point, Meadowbank down toward the Parramatta River — get more moisture and more mould growth on southern and shaded elevations than the rest of Ryde does. Those walls need a proper clean and treatment before anything goes on them, or the mould is likely to return through the new coat.
